Partners in Development and Consultancy (PIDC)
Partners in Development and Consultancy (PIDC) organized a Multi-Stakeholder Consultation on Sindh’s Energy Transition, Climate Finance Readiness, and Climate Resilience in Karachi on 22 January 2026 under the support of Tara Climate Foundation.
The consultation brought together representatives from government, academia, civil society, development partners, and the private sector to discuss renewable energy transition, climate finance readiness, and climate resilience in Sindh.
Participants emphasized the need for stronger institutional coordination, inclusive climate action, decentralized renewable energy systems, and improved climate finance mechanisms to support sustainable development and resilience-building in vulnerable communities.
The recommendations and insights from the consultation will contribute to ongoing policy dialogue and the development of Sindh’s Climate Finance and Resilience framework
