Vinod Kumar is an experienced professional working in the field of Administration and Finance. With nearly 15 years of industry experience in a similar sector, he brings strong expertise in financial management, administrative operations, and organizational support.

Mr. Shah Nawaz is a seasoned development and humanitarian professional with over 14 years of progressive experience in project management, human rights advocacy, climate change adaptation, disaster risk reduction (DRR), climate-resilient and inclusive WASH, women’s empowerment, organizational development, and inclusive community development.

As Project Manager at PIDC, he leads the strategic planning, implementation, and oversight of multi-sectoral programs. He is responsible for program design, team leadership, stakeholder coordination, donor compliance, partnership development, and quality assurance, ensuring that interventions are results-oriented, evidence-based, and aligned with national and international development frameworks.

He holds a Master’s degree in Non-Governmental Organizations with a specialization in Human Rights, and Sustainable Development from Chonnam National University, South Korea. His academic and professional journey reflects a strong commitment to democratic governance, inclusive development, and rights-based programming.

Over the course of his career, Mr. Shah Nawaz has collaborated with prominent national and international organizations, including UN Women, WaterAid, Plan International, Islamic Relief, Community World Service Asia, ACTED, and DAI. He has successfully led and contributed to large-scale humanitarian and development initiatives, including emergency flood response, climate-resilient WASH programming, gender mainstreaming, and capacity-building of local institutions.

Mr. Shah Nawaz is widely recognized for his strategic leadership, strong analytical skills, and commitment to advancing inclusive, sustainable, and rights-oriented development outcomes that create long-term impact for vulnerable populations.

Vinod Kumar is an experienced professional working in the field of Administration and Finance. With nearly 15 years of industry experience in a similar sector, he brings strong expertise in financial management, administrative operations, and organizational support. Over the years, he has worked with several organizations, including NGO Saarang Foundation, where he contributed to efficient financial and administrative processes.

Ms. Kainat Tabassum serves as a Data Analyst at PIDC, contributing to research, data analysis, documentation, and knowledge development across development initiatives. Her work focuses on supporting evidence-based research to inform project design, policy discussions, and institutional readiness for climate finance and energy governance in Sindh.

She holds a B.Ed. (Hons) from Sukkur IBA University, graduating with a CGPA of 3.79, with strong expertise in research, data management, and social development. She has practical experience in teaching, mentoring, and community-based initiatives, including teaching practicums at IBA-affiliated schools, The city school, PSP School Sukkur, managed by Ziauddin university, and field monitoring with Sindh Rural Support Organization and active participation in the Women-to-Women program.

Ms. Kainat Tabassum has actively participated in leadership and extracurricular initiatives, serving as Executive Member of the Education Society, organizing academic events, STEAM projects, workshops, and teacher training programs.

She is committed to inclusive development, gender equality, and women’s empowerment, supporting initiatives that strengthen human capacity, promote equitable access to education, and enhance sustainable community outcomes across Pakistan. Through her work at PIDC, she aims to support research-informed policies and programs that address social challenges and improve development outcomes for communities across Pakistan.

Ms. Nabila Rajper serves as a Project Assistant at PIDC, where she supports project coordination, documentation, and operational management across development initiatives. She is currently in the final year of her Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from Sir Syed University of Engineering and Technology.

With a strong technical foundation and analytical mindset, Ms. Rajper has gained practical experience through her engagements with reputable organizations including Dewan Motors, Diwan International, and the Civil Aviation Authority. These experiences have strengthened her skills in technical operations, coordination, and professional communication.

She has also demonstrated leadership within academic and professional platforms, serving as Vice Chair of the IEEE Power & Energy Society (PES) Student Branch, where she actively contributed to organizing technical sessions, team management, and student engagement initiatives.

Ms. Rajper possesses strong leadership abilities, organizational skills, and a proven commitment to volunteerism and teamwork. Her multidisciplinary exposure enables her to contribute effectively to project implementation, stakeholder coordination, and results-driven development work.

Ziana Shakil serves as the Research Associate at PIDC, where she leads research on climate finance, urban development and public policy. Her work focuses on developing informed and evidence- based research aimed at strengthening Sindh’s provincial capacity to access and manage international climate finance while improving energy governance frameworks. She also conducts capacity-building workshops, policy consultations, and technical studies to enhance institutional readiness for global financing mechanisms.

With a BSc in Social Development and Policy from Habib University, her work examines how social systems, policy frameworks, and lived experiences intersect. She has extensively contributed to mixed-methods research on SRHR, gender dynamics, education, and urban vulnerability, conducting qualitative fieldwork across Pakistan to inform evidence-based policy and program design.

Beyond research, she engages with her work through writing, documentation, and storytelling, seeking to bridge policy, practice, and lived experience through narrative. Driven by a commitment to equitable and evidence-based reform, she brings analytical rigor alongside a grounded understanding of the socio-political realities shaping development outcomes in Pakistan.
